27 Aufgrund von diversen Sicherheitslücken in den vom Printserver verwendeten Komponenten und den verwendeten Node.js-Versionen empfehlen wir, wenn möglich keine alte, explizit für die {{formcycle/}} Version 7 entwickelte Printserver-Version (1.x, 2.x) mehr einzusetzen. Neuere Printserver-Versionen sind offiziell nur mit neueren Pluginversionen für die formcycle Version 8 und höher kompatibel, arbeiten aber in den meisten Fällen auch mit der neuesten Version des Plugins für {{formcycle/}} Version 7 ohne Probleme.
